As a consequence of climate warming, plants and animals are expected to shift their geographical ranges poleward and upward.

In this project Jacqueline studied the range dynamics for seven broadleaved trees having their northern range limit occurring across central Sweden using species distribution models (SDMs) and a transplant experiment. Master student Eva Levine re-inventoried the transplants and that study is still to be published.

Currently Olle Lindestad has a postdoc within the project ANAFOR where he continues on Jaquelines work with understanding the distribution of southern forest trees and other species.
